Orthodontics for Children
Between the ages of 7 and 9 is an ideal age to first visit our office. Many children require no treatment at this age however developmental problems can be intercepted. By monitoring tooth and jaw growth, problems which may be more difficult to treat at a later age can be addressed to prevent long term treatment, additional cost, and potential surgery.
Before & Afters of Kids Orthodontics
Both of my daughters were patients of Dr. Callender. They both could be models for Colgate after their wonderful results.
I didn’t have braces as a child, but as an adult my front lower teeth began moving and were crowded and crooked. I, too, decided to go to Dr. Callender, and he used the Invisalign method for me. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Five out of Five Stars from our family.
Orthodontics for Teens
In many cases, a child is ready for braces between the ages of 11 and 13. During this stage, the majority of a child’s permanent teeth have come in. By beginning treatment in the early teen years, braces can be taken off by the age of 13 or 15. Dr. Callender understands the importance of appearances for teens and works very hard to remove braces in a quick, yet appropriate time frame.
Before & Afters of Teen Orthodontics
We have used Dr. Callender for both of our kids, one still in braces. We have nothing but great things to say about the work he and his staff have done…I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Callender is seeing more and more adults every day. Many adults see the benefits of braces for cosmetic reasons as well as for occasional problems associated with fit and function of the teeth. In addition to traditional braces, a variety of options, including Invisalign, exist to address the aesthetic concerns of adults. Dr. Callender will be happy to explore these choices with you.
Before & Afters of Adult Orthodontics
As an adult, I wasn’t sure what getting braces would be like. Dr. Callender took the time to explain the process, what it would require of me, and even was up front about the risks of getting braces as an adult versus if I had done them in my childhood. I highly recommend Dr. Callender to any one thinking of getting braces as an adult or to anyone thinking of taking their children in for braces! Excellent customer service!
